Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, during his two-day tour of Latur and Beed districts, stated that he is not engaging in any confrontations with the opposition or responding to their claims, as the party has ample welfare schemes and development projects to showcase. Regarding Union minister Nitin Gadkari's remarks on the Majhi Ladki Bahin scheme, Pawar expressed his lack of knowledge about the statement and mentioned his intention to discuss the matter with Gadkari upon returning to Mumbai. Addressing a large gathering in Beed district's Majalgaon, he emphasized the government's commitment to inclusive development and urged support for the Mahayuti alliance in the upcoming elections. Pawar underscored the party's dedication to secular values and stated that the government operates based on the principles of Shivaji Maharaj, Mahatma Phule, Shahu Maharaj, and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. He highlighted the "Jan Sanman Yatra" initiative aimed at raising awareness about government schemes, including the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana providing financial aid to hardworking women. Pawar also discussed initiatives such as free education for girls, waiving off electricity bills for farmers, and crop insurance for Re 1. Additionally, he mentioned subsidies on milk and increased honorariums for various positions.He mentioned that all these plans would persist for the next five years should the Mahayuti receive backing in the upcoming elections.
